Finally, Robert Pattinson Cast as Batman in New Reboot Pattinson playing Bruce Wayne in Matt Reyes’ upcoming reboot of The Batman. The actor is playing his biggest role since the Twilight series ended, trading in a sparkling vampire for a Caped Crusader. A new report from Variety just revealed that Robert Pattinson is signed on to play Batman in the new movie.

Robert Pattinson Cast as Batman in New Reboot is succeeding Ben Affleck, who was originally going to write or direct the film as well as a star but walked away for his personal issues and numerous behind-the-scenes debacles sidelined the plans for the DC Comics shared superhero universe.

Director Matt Reeves wrote the scripting focus on the crimefighter in early days, before becoming now as the World Greatest Detective.

There is no word yet on when a shoot is set to begin, but with title role finally, cast we expect to see a lot more announcements about the rest of the actors join the production.

Reeves has spoken at length about the upcoming films, reveal that is set to a noir-themed story that will force Batman to solve a vast mystery, pushing him to wit’s end.

“It is very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale,” Reeves previously said to The Hollywood Reporter. told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope a going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional. that is more Batman in his detective mode than we seen in the films. The comics have a history of this.”

“He is supposed to be the world greatest detective, and that not necessarily been a part of the movies have been. I love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime, it is going to allow his character  have an arc that he can go a transformation.”

While Ben Affleck helped kick off a shared university as the Caped Crusader, it looks like the new movie will forge connections to other films instead of telling focused stories.
