The by-decision in the get together voting public of Jind in Haryana and Thiruvarur in Tamil Nadu will be hung on January 28, while the tallying of votes will happen on January 31. 

According to an announcement from the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday, the electronic voter machines (EVM) and the voter-checked paper review trails (VVPAT) will be utilized on all surveying stations. 

"Satisfactory quantities of EVMs and VVPATs have been made accessible. The sum total of what steps have been taken to guarantee that the surveys are directed easily with the assistance of these machines," said the announcement. 

The last date of documenting selection is January 10. The investigation of selection papers will be done on January 11. The last date for the withdrawal of designation is January 14.
